International Day of Forests
Texte

In January 2023, the equivalent of 22,000 football fields were cut down in the Amazon. Aware of the huge problem of deforestation, JJA through its ambition The Good living Project seeks to implement actions to be part of the solution. In order to preserve the world around us, in our commitment n°1 we are working to increase the proportion of references resulting from an eco-design approach and reduce our GHG emissions.

On the occasion of the International Day of Forests, we wanted to share with you our actions in favour of forests, in particular with the FSC® (Forest Stewarship Council) label which guarantees that the wood used in our products comes from legal and sustainably managed forests.

Since 2020, JJA is FSC® certified (FSC-C153134) to guarantee the traceability of wood products from responsibly managed forests.
In the space of 3 years, more than 900 references created by JJA brands have been FSC ® certified. 100% of the references of our brand Hespéride made of wood or bamboo are certified.

All catalogues are made of at least 70% recycled paper. They also belong in the recycling bin because they are recyclable! They can therefore be given a second life by being used in the composition of a new material.

JJA's commitment to biodiversity is also reflected in its participation in the reforestation of two areas of Mont Ventoux and Mont Contadour.
Within the framework of a partnership with Roland-Garros, alongside the southern region, via the RESPIRE fund and the national forestry office, several hundred trees have already been planted.
